Allan Salant, Senior Electrical Engineer - Allan holds a master's degree in management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 20 years of industry experience as an electrical engineer and project manager, Allan is an expert in quality management systems. He also has extensive experience in UL Listed control panel design. Prior to co-founding KDY, he was a Senior Product Engineering Manager at Cree, a world leader in LED-based lighting technology.

Carlos Arango, Automation Design Engineer - Carlos holds a master’s degree in mechanical and systems engineering as well as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University. He is a Certified LabView Developer and has over 10 years' experience in development and deployment of automation systems utilizing the latest Rockwell and Allen Bradley products. Carlos originally joined KDY in 2009 before taking a position as design engineer and project manager at Michelin, where he was able to expand his electro-mechanical and ControlLogix skills.

Kody Grilz, Automation Design Engineer - Kody holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is an experienced designer of microcontroller automation systems in laboratory applications and a developer of full-stack software solutions in platforms and languages such as LabVIEW, Java, C/C++, C#, and LisP. Kody joined KDY in 2020.

Jeffrey Landrum, Automation Design Engineer - Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech. He is certified in LEAN Six Sigma, is a certified biotechnology Process Technician, and has extensive hands-on experience in the development, fabrication, and testing of electromechanical systems.

Max McCorkle, Engineering Technician - Prior to joining our team, Max was in the automotive industry for the last 15+ years. He was a Senior Master Technician specialized in Electrical and Driveability at Ford. Then shifted into Fleet Maintenance, where he became the Lead Diagnostic Technician for a fleet of 5000+ vehicles and Master Certified through the fleet company. Max is currently working on his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from NC State.

Eric Nyberg, Engineering Technician - Has 15+ years working in mechanical maintenance. After leaving the Marine Corps with the rank of Sargeant, Eric continued to work in the military aerospace industry, leading teams performing critical maintenace on V-22 and CH-53 aircraft. Eric is a master aviation mechanic and brings his unique subject matter expertise to the test systems we develope.

Muriel Osorio, Executive Assistant - Muriel is a New York native. She has a background in Project Management and will now manage our office, assist our engineers, vendors and clients to ensure we run a smooth operation. You will find her at our front desk to greet you with a warm smile.
